Filmfare Awards

Filmfare awards 2008 was held in Mumbai on Feb 23 2008. The biggest stars of bollywood were present at this starry event including sharukh khan, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Bacchans and Aamir were found to be missing at the event.

Chak De and Taare Jameen par bagged the most number of awards. Best actress award went to Kareena Kapoor for her role in Jab We Met while the critics award went to Tabu for her role in Cheeni Kum. Fresh face of the year as expected was bagged by Deepika Padukone along with the new comer of the year award.
